Obama lied saying the Benghazi attacks on Sept. 11, 2012, began “spontaneously”
in response to an anti-Muslim video on the internet. The fact that the attack, which
resulted in the torture and death of the U.S. Ambassador and three other Americans
was planned and caried out by al Qaeda, didn't fit Obama's reelection narative.
